Basketball Recap: Southside Takes a Loss

Southside and Mills University Studies squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Southside had to settle for second. They took a 59-45 bruising from the Mills University Studies Comets. The Southerners just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mills University Studies, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-9.

Southside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mills University Studies, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-53 win against Shiloh Christian on the 6th.
