Volleyball Recap: Mount Vernon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mount Vernon lost against Detroit back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 25-8.

Mount Vernon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Detroit, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Vernon will head out to challenge Hughes Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Detroit, they will venture away from home to take on Maud at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
