Softball Recap: Overbrook Comes Up Short

Overbrook managed to slip by Woodstown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 17-7 to the Wolverines on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rams have suffered since April 2nd.

Cecelia Mitchell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Ava Landolt was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Overbrook is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7. As for Woodstown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Overbrook is taking a road trip to square off against Timber Creek Regional at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Woodstown, they will be playing at home against Delsea at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
