Volleyball Game Preview: Turpin Spartans vs. Mason Comets + How To Watch

The Turpin Spartans will take on the Mason Comets at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Turpin is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Kings just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Knights. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-21 in the first set.

Turpin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 28-26, 25-23, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Mason made easy work of Hamilton on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Mason's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. As for Turpin, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.
