Softball Recap: Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators vs. Baptist Hill Bobcats

Lowcountry Leadership can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They never let the Baptist Hill Bobcats onto the board and left with a 21-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Lowcountry Leadership sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Nicole Galloway was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Galloway has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. Galloway was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.

In other batting news, Emma Postell was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, six RBI, and two runs. Laylee Chesser was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Lowcountry Leadership pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Baptist Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing St. John's the next time they take the field. Lowcountry Leadership will host St. John's at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Baptist Hill will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
