Softball Recap: King Gets the Win

While King put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Gahr. The King Wolves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Gahr Gladiators. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

King now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Gahr, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Looking ahead, King will take on Roosevelt at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so King's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gahr, they will challenge Huntington Beach at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Huntington Beach will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Gahr surely won't give up without a fight.
