It's playoff time, and Ellington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Griswold Wolverines on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Tyler Dumond was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
