Basketball Recap: Forney Comes Up Short

Forney suffered their closest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Forney Falcons by a score of 37-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jackrabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-32 back in December of 2024.

Forney has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for North Forney, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.

Forney will look to defend their home court on Friday against Royse City at 6:30 p.m. Forney is facing Royse City at the right time seeing as Royse City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Forney, they are taking a road trip to take on Tyler Legacy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
