Basketball Game Preview: Valley Rams vs. Schley County Wildcats

The Valley Rams and the Schley County Wildcats will round out the year against one another at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Valley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Valley's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave on Friday, when they got past Greenville's usually-dominant defense. The Rams managed a 56-50 victory over the Patriots. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly six points.

Kayden Dooley had another great game (as she tends to do), shooting 50% from the field to rack up 24 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 20 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jamiah Johnson, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Schley County beat Deerfield-Windsor 48-37 last Saturday.

Valley's record now sits at 7-1. As for Schley County, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
