Volleyball Recap: Wilbur-Creston-Keller's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but Wilbur-Creston-Keller unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Mary Walker Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since September 20th.

While Wilbur-Creston-Keller was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-16.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 17-4-1. As for Mary Walker, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wilbur-Creston-Keller will face off against rival Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mary Walker is set to challenge their familiar foe Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
