Basketball Recap: Grove City Christian Makes It Five in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Grove City Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 win over the Madison Plains Golden Eagles on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2017.

Grove City Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bennett Cook, who went 7 for 12 to rack up 17 points. Thanks to that strong game, Cook now owns an excellent 45.2% shooting accuracy. Josiah Harmeyer was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven assists and five boards.

Grove City Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
