Volleyball Recap: Eaton Takes Down the Classical Academy in a Playoff Battle

Eaton extended their postseason success on Friday against The Classical Academy. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Reds sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Leading Eaton to victory were Hayden Logan and Harley Forster. Logan had ten digs and two aces, while Forster had five digs and three aces. That's the most digs Logan has posted over her last eight matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Eaton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, The Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Mallory Smith, who had 12 digs.

Eaton's victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for The Classical Academy, they moved to 25-3 with that loss, which also ended their 15-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Eaton will take on Varsity Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for The Classical Academy, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Sterling at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
