Basketball Recap: Wolsey-Wessington Triumphs

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds beat the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers 60-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warbirds.

Wolsey-Wessington's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wolsey-Wessington will take on Warner at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Warner: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Wolsey-Wessington has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will head out to square off against Stanley County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
