Football Game Preview: Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees vs. Richwood Lumberjacks

The Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees will head out to take on the Richwood Lumberjacks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clay-Battelle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Richwood likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Clay-Battelle was fully in charge, breezing past Meadow Bridge 54-12. The result was nothing new for the Cee-Bees, who have now won four contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Richwood ended up a good deal behind Tygarts Valley on Thursday and lost 29-12. The Lumberjacks have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Clay-Battelle's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.7 points on average over those games. As for Richwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
