Football Recap: Post Falls Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Post Falls's offense. They took a blow against the Coeur d'Alene Vikings on Friday, falling 42-0. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Coeur d'Alene's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tannar Stern, who threw for 154 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown. Stern's passing game has become a key predictor of the Vikings' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. Ty Paulin was another key back, rushing for 101 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Post Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Coeur d'Alene, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Post Falls will host Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Coeur d'Alene, they will face off against Life Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
