Soccer Recap: Tomball Memorial Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Tomball Memorial hasn't lost a match since January 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Klein Collins Tigers a 2-0 shutout. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Tigers are ranked 160th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carlos McKechnie and Ryder Garza scored both of Tomball Memorial's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Tomball Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. Klein Collins' loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tomball Memorial challenge the Tomball at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Klein Collins, they will face off against Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
