Baseball Recap: Lena's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Lena suffered their biggest defeat since April 22, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 9-2 to the Green Bay Southwest Fighting Trojans. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Wildcats' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Lena saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Peterson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lena fell to 5-1. As for Green Bay Southwest, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.

Looking ahead, Lena will head out on the road to square off against Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Bay Southwest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against De Pere at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Redbirds will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Fighting Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
