Softball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Edmonds-Woodway on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-3 to the Warriors. The Seagulls' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Everett now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will challenge Burlington-Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will face off against Stanwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Edmonds-Woodway 3.8, Stanwood 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
