Norwalk had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Clyde on Thursday. The Truckers put the hurt on the Fliers with a sharp  3-0 win. The game was the first time the Truckers have beaten the Fliers on their court since September 7, 2021.
 Norwalk was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21,  25-15.
 Ainslee King paced Norwalk's offense, picking up 11 kills. King got some help from  Emily Tyler and her 29 assists.  Sawyer Wineman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Norwalk has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. As for Clyde, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Norwalk wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  defeat against Columbian on the 11th. As for Clyde, they have also already played their next game,  a  3-2  loss against Old Fort on the 6th.
