Basketball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Lexington Tigers lost to the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights on the road by a 57-38 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Blue Knights are ranked 35th).

Lexington dropped their record down to 14-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Hume-Fogg, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-3.

Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hume-Fogg, they will challenge Upperman at 9:30 a.m. on March 20th. One thing working in Hume-Fogg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.
