Weimar had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Hempstead on Thursday. The Weimar Wildcats were the clear victor by a 7-1 margin over the Hempstead Bobcats. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

Logan Kainer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. Kainer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.
