Soccer Game Preview: DeRidder vs. South Beauregard

The DeRidder Dragons are taking a road trip to square off against the South Beauregard Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

DeRidder fell victim to Beau Chene and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Gators, falling 6-0. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, South Beauregard unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 4-1 to Catholic - N.I.

South Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for DeRidder, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

DeRidder suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to South Beauregard when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can DeRidder avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
