Basketball Recap: Lehman Catholic Comes Up Short

Lehman Catholic lost against Milton-Union back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lehman Catholic Cavaliers had to suffer through a 53-25 loss at the hands of the Milton-Union Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 596th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 248th).

Milton-Union found their leader in sophomore Addi Case, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Case has scored all season. Jenna Brumbaugh was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.

Lehman Catholic has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Milton-Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Lehman Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-31 defeat against Northridge on the 6th. As for Milton-Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-25 loss against Riverside on the 6th.
