Basketball Recap: Hobson/Moore Takes a Loss

Hobson/Moore lost against Belt back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hobson/Moore Titans came up short against the Belt Huskies, falling 66-44. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Huskies are ranked 31st).

This is the second loss in a row for Hobson/Moore and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Belt, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hobson/Moore has already played their next contest (against Centerville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Belt will take on Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Belt surely won't give up without a fight.
