Basketball Recap: Weiss Victorious

Weiss posted their closest victory since November 15th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Del Valle Cardinals 44-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Krystyna Dennis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 20 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Brooklyn Williams was another key player, putting up 14 points and five rebounds.

Weiss' victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Del Valle, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

Weiss is taking a road trip to square off against East View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weiss is facing East View at the right time seeing as East View is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Del Valle, they will head out to challenge Austin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Austin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
