Ridgeline and Green Canyon are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Riverhawks will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Green Canyon will be up against a hot Ridgeline team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Riverhawks' defense stepped up to hand Bear River a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was close at halftime, but Ridgeline pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Bear River with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Denaeyer Dean, Ivan Leon, and Conner Barnett.

Meanwhile, Green Canyon made easy work of Bear River last Thursday and carried off a 5-0 win. Given Green Canyon's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 21st, while Bear River are ranked 95th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridgeline pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matches. As for Green Canyon, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Ridgeline skirted past Green Canyon 3-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Riverhawks repeat their success, or do Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
