Volleyball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Auburn lost against Kentwood on October 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Conquerors by a score of 3-2. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Harmony Ajayi paced Auburn's offense, picking up 20 kills. Ajayi got some help from Jasmi Chanthavong and her 19 assists. Sophie Christenson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Kentwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Auburn is set to challenge their familiar foe Mt. Rainier at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kentwood will take on rival Kentridge at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
