Evansville Christian posted their closest victory since December 2, 2023 on Tuesday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 35-32 win from a begrudging Eagles squad. The victory was familiar territory for they who have now won three matches in a row.

Evansville Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hannah Higgs out in front who posted ten points. Higgs is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Bella Hall was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Northeast Dubois lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ava Helming, who put up six points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emmersen Kalb, who had 13 points and six rebounds.

Evansville Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Northeast Dubois, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Evansville Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-20 win against North Daviess on the 21st. As for Northeast Dubois, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 41-27 defeat against Jasper on the 19th.
