There's no place like home for DeLaSalle, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They really took it to the Richfield Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-47 victory. The Islanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Richfield's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Iona Macnabb, who went 5 for 11 to rack up 14 points, and Desirai Chappell, who posted 13 points. Chappell has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Aniiya Johnson was another key player, putting up 13 points.

DeLaSalle is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Richfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season.

DeLaSalle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-38 win against Fridley on the 7th. As for Richfield, they have also already played their next game, a 76-31 victory against Columbia Heights on the 7th.
