Park Crossing put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Shades Valley Mounties as the Park Crossing Thunderbirds made off with an 18-4 win. That 14 run margin sets a new team best for the Thunderbirds this season.

I JOHNSON was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was J MCGHEE, who went 1-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Park Crossing kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shades Valley onlymanaged three hits.

Park Crossing's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Shades Valley, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Park Crossing will head out on the road to take on Charles Henderson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shades Valley, they will host Mortimer Jordan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mortimer Jordan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
