Softball Recap: William Campbell Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact William Campbell can now relate to. They fell just short of the Buffalo Gap Bison by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Generals couldn't push the score so high this time.

William Campbell saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arnesia Dews, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

William Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Buffalo Gap, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As of now, neither William Campbell nor Buffalo Gap have any future games scheduled.
