Pinecrest Academy had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the eight-goal drubbing they dealt East Forsyth on Friday. The Paladins blew past the Broncos 9-1. Pinecrest Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by three goals or more this season.

They hit East Forsyth with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fia Del Balzo (3), Courtney Moses (3), Portia DeFehr (2), and Elena Snyder.

Pinecrest Academy pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 55 goals over those seven contests. As for East Forsyth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Academy will challenge Buford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Buford's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Pinecrest Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for East Forsyth, they will square off against West Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Forsyth will be up against West Hall's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.67 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
