Fort Dorchester put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Stratford Knights a 17-0 shutout. The Patriots' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.
Mila Lorenzano made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
