The Brookhaven Academy Cougars typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Parklane Academy Pioneers proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 63-53 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back wins for Parklane Academy.
Parklane Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Georgia Lindsey out in front who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindsey has scored all season. Zoe Alford was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Parklane Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Brookhaven Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-9.
