Basketball Recap: Emmaus Takes a Loss

Emmaus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 50-36 to the Parkland Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Trojans are ranked 87th).

Emmaus' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Parkland, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emmaus will square off against Whitehall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parkland, they will face off against Hudson Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
