Lake Braddock strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Woodson Cavaliers to the tune of 56-7. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Bruins this season.

Lake Braddock got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyrone Jackson out in front who threw for 221 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes. What's more, Jackson racked up 111.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Payton Holmes helped Jackson out on the ground, rushing for 124 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries.

Lake Braddock's run defense was locked in: Woodson could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Kody Blaylock for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lake Braddock didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.8.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Lake Braddock, racking up 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Xavier Barravino, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Lake Braddock's record now sits at 6-0. As for Woodson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
