Thirteenth annual all-star game scheduled for July 10; Fairfield, New Haven County rosters announced; Scholarship event presented by National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The 13th annual Hall of Fame Football Classic is scheduled for Friday, July 10, at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart University’s Campus Field.
The game will pit graduated seniors from Fairfield County against seniors from neighboring New Haven County. New Haven leads the series by 8-4; Fairfield County snapped a five-game losing streak last season with a 31-30 double-overtime victory at Strong Stadium in West Haven.
The game is presented by the Ralph DeSantis Fairfield County .Chapter and the Gene Casey New Haven County Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. It is the first all-star game in the country between chapters of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, and raises money for deserving student-athletes.

The Fairfield County All-Stars will be coached by Ridgefield High’s Kevin Callahan while Ansonia coach Tom Brockett will head the New Haven County All-Stars.
Both teams are scheduled to begin practice on Monday, June 29, with Fairfield County setting up camp at Wilton High and New Haven County practicing at Wilbur Cross.
