Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Franklin finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 22-0 to the Chavez Titans. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Yellowjackets were not able to get on the board.

Franklin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alena Torres Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

With the loss, Franklin broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Chavez, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Franklin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 defeat against Stagg on the 27th. As for Chavez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-6 win against Edison on the 27th.
