Baseball Recap: Thornton Fractional South Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Thornton Fractional South nor Bremen made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Red Wolves took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves. Red Wolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Braves since on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Thornton Fractional South and nudges their season record down to 12-20-2. As for Bremen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-16.

Coming up, Thornton Fractional South will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rich Township at 4:30 p.m. As for Bremen, they will venture away from home to challenge Munster at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
