Newark Memorial moved up to 476 from 657 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mission Valley. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Arroyo 64-12.

Irvington was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to second in the league. The Vikings defeated Ygnacio Valley 38-3 earlier in the week.

Jack Shank and Jared Lozoya gave Irvington a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Shank threw for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Lozoya ran for 186 yards. Shank also contributed to the rushing game with 79 yards on the ground.

Shank and Lozoya gave Zachary Silvernale's team a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week.

Deangelo Cox was the best wideout in the league this week as American bested Tennyson. Cox racked up 3 receptions for 92 yards.

Lozoya was the most successful running back in Mission Valley this week.

Shank put up the best numbers through the air as the Vikings defeated the Warriors.

Washington's Tylan Vinson and Terrance Jones have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Vinson has thrown for 163 yards this season, while Jones has 8 catches for 112 yards. Drew Lyell from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 206 yards.

Mission San Jose fell to Las Lomas 63-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
