Basketball Recap: Fair Lawn Comes Up Short

Fair Lawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Ridgewood Maroons 58-24. The matchup marked the Cutters' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fair Lawn's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Ridgewood, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fair Lawn will venture away from home to face off against Fort Lee at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. As for Ridgewood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Teaneck on Saturday. Teaneck will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ridgewood surely won't give up without a fight.
