Football Recap: Centennial Extends Road Winning Streak to Six + How To Watch

In Friday's Canine Competition, Centennial prevailed. They blew past the Queen Creek Bulldogs 28-7 on Friday. Considering the Coyotes have won three matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Centennial found their leader in sophomore Titus Hill, who threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns.

Centennial didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Queen Creek to a completion percentage of just 45.2%. The Coyotes hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.51 or higher in three consecutive games.

Centennial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Devin Taylor and Nathaniel Olmos. Olmos got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Centennial's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. As for Queen Creek, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will face off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Coyotes will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Queen Creek, they will challenge Basha at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 14.2 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
