Basketball Game Preview: Hancock Hawks vs. Pascagoula Panthers

The Hancock Hawks will face off against the Pascagoula Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hancock is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Hancock will head into Tuesday's match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 30-point drubbing they dealt Picayune on Tuesday. Hancock simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Picayune 60-30. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pascagoula posted their biggest victory since December 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 50-20 win over George County.

Hancock pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Pascagoula, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
