Basketball Recap: Beavercreek Takes a Loss

After flying high against Belmont last Tuesday, Beavercreek came back down to earth. The Beavercreek Beavers took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springboro Panthers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-49 back in January.

Beavercreek's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Springboro, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beavercreek will take on Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centerville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Springboro, they will face off against Wayne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
