Softball Recap: Central Bucks South's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Central Bucks South ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Council Rock South Golden Hawks. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 8-1 victory the Golden Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Keira Im and Ella Wheller did most of the damage at the plate: Im scored three runs while going 3-for-5, while Wheller scored two runs while going 3-for-5. Im also put up two doubles, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Megan Sandow, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the hit department: Central Bucks South kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Central Bucks South's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Council Rock South, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Central Bucks South is taking a road trip to face off against North Penn at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Council Rock South, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Easton Area at 3:45 p.m.
