Basketball Recap: Banning Lewis Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Banning Lewis Academy lost against Meeker back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Stallions fell 49-39 to the Cowboys. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Meeker to victory were Raegan Clatterbaugh and Cienna Rogers. Clatterbaugh dropped a double-double with ten rebounds and ten steals, while Rogers shot 55% from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and five steals. Clatterbaugh has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Haigen Harrison, who posted six points and three steals.

Banning Lewis Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Meeker, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Banning Lewis Academy will square off against The Vanguard School at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for Meeker, after both having extra time off, they and Grand Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026. This will be the Cowboys' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
