Baseball Game Preview: Mission Oak Hawks vs. Tulare Union Tribe

For the second straight game, Mission Oak will face off against Tulare Union. The Hawks will face off against the Tribe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mission Oak is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Tulare Union with a sharp 12-2 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Mission Oak got a massive performance out of Braylen Vera, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Vera has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ben Romans, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Mission Oak was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tulare Union only posted a batting average of .222.

Mission Oak's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Tulare Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
