Basketball Game Preview: Olivet Eagles vs. Eaton Rapids Greyhounds

Olivet and Eaton Rapids are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but not for long. The Olivet Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Eaton Rapids Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Friday, Olivet ended up a good deal behind East Jackson and lost 49-32.

Meanwhile, Eaton Rapids came up short against East Lansing on Monday and fell 45-37. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Trojans are ranked 93rd).

Olivet's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Eaton Rapids, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Olivet took their victory against Eaton Rapids when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 38-17. Does Olivet have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eaton Rapids turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
