It was a good run, but Brewer unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Fairview Aggies who were credited with the victory. The Fairview Aggies got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Brewer Patriots' four. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aggies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Ryan Murhpree and Derek Correa scored both of Brewer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Brewer's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Fairview, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brewer will square off against West Point at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brewer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season. As for Fairview, they will face off against West Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
