Volleyball Recap: Northern Cambria Gets the Win + How To Watch

While Northern Cambria's win against Purchase Line wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colts won by a set and slipped past the Red Dragons 3-2.

Northern Cambria wouldn't go down easily and took Purchase Line into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-16, 25-17, 15-25, 15-11.

Maddie Work was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and two aces. Those 13 digs gave her a new career-high. Ciara McCracken also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Northern Cambria's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6-1. As for Purchase Line, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Northern Cambria will head out to square off against Penns Manor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Purchase Line, they will venture away from home to take on West Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
